Who is the festival for?

The anniversary festival is both a professional gathering and an open musical event. You do not need to attend everything: each visitor can choose the parts that matter most to them.

Young musicians

Masterclasses, performance opportunities, the festival orchestra, new musical experiences and meeting other accordionists.

Teachers

Professional encounters, masterclasses, exchange of experience and connections with Hungarian and international colleagues.

Families and audiences

Concerts, instrument experiences, career orientation and a chance to discover accordion studies at the Bartók Conservatory.

A child discovering the accordion up close
An instrument is not a syllabus at first. It is sound, shape, curiosity — and a personal encounter.
The next generation

Sometimes an instrument becomes close in a single moment.

One important role of the festival is to show the accordion not only from the concert stage. Children and families can meet the instrument, students and the study path that can continue at the Bartók Conservatory.

Curiosity can become a first lesson. And a first lesson can become a whole musical path.
